  • Who is Evalato?

Evalato is a software platform that is being used for registrations and judging for the Pause Awards this year. It provides a streamlined and efficient process for managing entries and facilitating the judging process.

  • I’m getting emails from Evalato, not Pause Awards. Is this normal?

Yes, it is normal to receive emails from Evalato during the Pause Awards registration and judging process. Since Evalato is the platform being used, they handle the communication and notifications related to entries, updates, and other aspects of the awards. These emails are sent on behalf of the Pause Awards organisers to ensure a smooth and organised process for participants.

  • Can I enter multiple categories in one application?

Yes, you can enter multiple categories in one application using Evalato. During the registration process, you have the option to select and pay for multiple categories together in a single application. This allows you to submit your entries for different categories conveniently.

  • How do I add more categories to my application?

If you have already submitted your application with certain categories and wish to add more categories to it, Evalato currently doesn’t have a feature that enables editing the existing application. In this case, you will need to create another submission with the additional categories you want to include. It is recommended to keep all your submissions under the same email for easier management.

  • I want to change my name or email that I’ve signed up with. Is it possible?

Currently, Evalato does not provide an option to edit the information (such as name or email) that you provided during the sign-up process. If you need to update your name or email, you will have to create a new submission with the desired information. However, please note that this applies if you want the new submission to be under a different name or email. If you wish to keep the same name or email, you can continue using your existing submission. Creating a new submission is a quick and straightforward process.

  • Who can enter?

Entries are open to individuals and companies in Australia from all industries, including blockchain, government, NGOs, and agencies.

  • How do I enter?

To enter, individuals need to visit pauseawards.com/enter, choose their categories, register an account, and complete the application process with a 1,000-word submission addressing specific questions.

  • What qualifies my business to be eligible?

Your business is eligible if the achievements or projects you’re entering took place between 1 July 2022 and 1 June 2023, and were executed in the marketplace prior to submission. National companies can apply multiple times with different projects.

  • How do I write the best entry?

Your entry should be detailed, containing specific results of your projects or achievements. Ensure that all sections of the entry questions are completed to avoid disqualification. There is more information in Resource pages and News.

  • Can I submit entries on behalf of multiple companies or clients?

Yes, simply register and enter for each company or client separately under one or multiple entries.

  • How do I apply for Company and Individual categories?

  • Can I enter if I am based outside of Australia?

If you’re launching a product or opening in Australia we do have a specific category for import called ‘Down Under’. We suggest you take a look and enter as it could be a great welcoming to the country.

  • Are there any restrictions on the types of companies or industries entering?

There are no restrictions, we are not industry specific.

  • When do I need to pay for entries?

Payment is required at the end of the application process. You can also choose to pay upfront when selecting categories to secure the best rates.

  • How much does it cost to enter?

Entry fees range from $295 for an Early Entry to $495 for a Late Entry. Discounts are available for multiple entries.

  • How does Entry Bundle activation work?

Entry bundles are automatically activated when you select and submit your entries for 5, 10, or 15 categories in a single application through the Evalato system. The system will automatically apply the corresponding discount based on the number of categories you’ve chosen.

  • What happens if I add more categories using separate application forms?

If you decide to add more categories to your submission using separate application forms instead of selecting them all at once, the Evalato system will not be able to apply the Entry Bundle discounts automatically. In such cases, we recommend getting in touch with us before making the payment for your entries.

  • How can I contact you regarding the activation of Entry Bundles?

If you need assistance or have questions about activating Entry Bundles for your Pause Awards entries, please reach out to our support team. You can find our contact information on the Pause Awards website or use the designated communication channels provided by Evalato within the platform.

  • Can I enter the same initiative for two years in a row?

The information provided doesn’t specify this. However, given that the achievements or projects must have taken place between 1 July 2022 and 1 June 2023, if the initiative spans across two years and has significant achievements in each year, it may be possible.
